Our Gifts.. to others

Commitments to serve

“Our deepest need is for the joy that comes with …knowing we are of genuine use to others.”

-- Eknath Easwaran

I'm finding with the way the economy is presently there are a lot of people wondering how to do just that..

It's a frustrating time for many. I hope I can encourage those of you who may know of others struggles

to recognize their need and appreciate them.

  3. Everyone has something to give in this world, and whether it be a material gift or just a gift of a smile and warm embrace, we should accept every offering with joy and deep appreciation.

  4. Hi Mel,

That's true...sometimes when I'm going through a tough time it's a smile or a kind word from someone that means the world to me.
Because you reminded me of this, I'm going to be conscious of every
type of gift I receive today, starting with yours..
    All my best,
    e
