Finding your way...

"The indispensable first step to getting the things you want out of life is this: decide what you want."

-- Ben Stein

"You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have the courage -- pleasantly, smilingly, nonapologetically -- to say 'no' to other things. And the way you do that is by having a bigger 'yes' burning inside."

-- Stephen Covey

Are you too juggling many requests.. especially as the holidays approach? Do you hear

your voice? It's important to take sometime out and listen.. listen to what your heart tells you, find

the balance within and enjoy the Holidays to come.

  1. A very timely post as I just threw away my very long to-do list and narrowed it down to the essentials because I would rather enjoy than regret the holidays.

Learning to say no has been a very hard lesson, but a worthwhile one indeed.

  2. Hi Mel,

Yes..that's true. I think as we get older we start to value our time spent more and more, especially as we become aware of how quickly it
    goes.

I hope your holidays are just what you need.

    Enjoy...

  5. This is such an important thought for this time of year. We often take on way too much in our attempt to make the hlidays perfect for those around us. The downside of this can come in the way of stress and sheer exhaustion. Less really is more. Thank you for the little reminder that we all need.
